Nullspace EM / Applications - Scattering Analysis
Scattering Analysis
Scattering analysis with Nullspace EM allows users to efficiently simulate the radar cross section (RCS) of complex objects such as aircraft, ships, and ground vehicles. RCS analysis is a critical element in supporting radar signal processing for radar design, classification algorithm design, and electronic warfare applications.
Scattering problems also include analysis of EM propagation through tenuous media, which is important for applications such as medical imaging, geoscience, and petroleum engineering.
Nullspace EM scattering applications include:
Narrowband & wideband monostatic and bistatic radar cross section analysis
Biological tissue scattering and propagation
Ground penetrating radar for unexploded ordnance and mine detection
Subsurface geolocation
Planetary surface mapping
